When she was around three years old, my niece, Erinn Ann, asked this of my youngest brother. Upon hearing of this from my mother, I thought surely there must be a piece of music somewhere in that question. As a result, I penned the composition as an attempt to convey (in a musical question and answer sense) the conversation that might have ensued between my brother (and most likely my sister-in-law as well) and my niece in his attempt to provide an answer. -Jon Charles Fortman, composer
