From the album: Gifts and Testaments of Robin Hood Road

For my grandfather, Wilson Robert Singleton, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in 1982. Born of this year, he left us too early on 18 November 1982. One section of the song was derived from another piece that I never finished for my grandmother, Helen Holton Singleton, who left us peacefully during her afternoon nap 17 January 2002. -Jon Charles Fortman, composer
